Family Camping - Indoor Style

Last week we had a cooler day.  One of those indoor and drizzly kind of days.  After having so much fun outside the past few weeks it was actually fun for the kids to just relax in the basement with us and their toys that they haven't had the chance to play with for awhile.  Abigail has been excited about camping for a few weeks now.  She asks all the time to go and so this day we decided to try it out.
Once we decided that this cool/rainy day was the perfect camping day Josh set to work making things great as he always does.
The boys set to work and then rest in a little blanket tent
while I set up the circus tent for Abigail and baby doll Anna.  We loaded blankets in each for fun
And made it even more fun by pulling out the marshmallows to roast.
Treats, ahh.  The kids really love nothing more.
Josh and I smiled a lot at each other as we experienced this family camping experience, in the basement.  The day will come when we pack the car with tents, sleeping bags and gear and head out into a "real" camping trip but for now, this works and we all had fun for sure.

Looks like a great day. I want to roast marshmallows I don't buy them because I eat a few then they go bad so I throw them out.
